Do you read and hear about juicing everywhere you go and see people drinking a mysterious -usually green- liquid wherever you turn? Are you slightly intrigued by this trend? Perhaps you’re already into these drinks and would like to take your healthy habit one step further and start making your own juices at home.
Whatever the case may be, I’m glad you’re reading this.
Next week I will explain why I love juicing so much, and why I recommend you do it too if you haven’t started yet. Today, however, I’m going to focus on those who are already considering juicing at home but need a little guidance to get started, or those who have started already but feel a bit stuck. I would like to share a slideshow I created for Latinamom.me a while back, which includes my top tips for juicing beginners. These few suggestions will get you started on your juicing career, and if you follow them carefully you’ll be juicing like a pro in no time.
If you want to go deeper, understand everything there is to know about juicing, and get over 50 delicious, nourishing, and cleansing juice recipes so you never run out of ideas, you can check out my Detox Juicing book here. But for now, the few tips I’m about to share will be enough to get you started on the road to juicing bliss.
Investing in a juicer and making your own green (or any other color!) drinks at home is one of the best decisions you can make for your health. Of course, if you can afford going to a good quality juice bar every day to get your dose of liquid veggies, that’s completely fine too. It may even save you some time if you have one of these places close-by.
But I still like the idea of making my own juices most of the time, because that way I’m in control of what goes into them, it allows for a much more varied selection of ingredients, and I can adapt each juice to my tastebuds.
Juicing doesn’t have to be too expensive or time consuming. It can in fact become a very enjoyable experience. Click HERE to get started.
